Radio Fáilte will be hosting a weekend course in radio and broadcasting skills with support from the Irish Broadcasting Fund from Northern Ireland Screen. The course will be held in Radio Fáilte, 30 Divis Street, Belfast. The participants will learn how to make, present and edit their own show. They will be recording one show over the two days and support will be given as well as any facilities needed will be available. The course will be held on Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th of March from 10:00 to 16:00.

“Seo an tríú bliain dúinn cúrsa iomlán a reáchtáil in aon deireadh seachtaine amháin,” said Dónall Mac Murchaidh, Training Officer and Producer, Raidió Fáilte, “agus d’éirigh thar barr leis na cúrsaí go dtí seo le ábhar craoltóirí ag pilleadh ar an Raidió le clár dá gcuid féin a chur i láthair ar bhonn rialta nó le páirt a ghlacadh i gcúrsaí oiliúna eile”.

In training courses in Radio Fáilte, participants get the opportunity to use the high-tech broadcasting equipment inside a custom made building with multiple studios and options for recording equipment available along with the know-how on how to use them.
